We headed to the Isle of Wight for a few days cycling to enjoy some great sea views and a few good hills to test our legs.
Cycling from Le Havre to Paris we enjoyed perfect cycle lanes, quiet roads and fresh baguettes to fuel us on. We ended at the Eiffel Tower having enjoyed one of the nicest bike routes we’ve ever done.
London to Paris, everybody does it differently. Some people race it in 24 hours, for others it is the challenge of a lifetime and they raise thousands for charity. We were taking a more leisurely place to enjoy the views and highlights of the route.
We’ve been back in London for a while now, but our bikes have made less of an appearance around town. Before we left for South America, we both commuted to work and used our bikes and generally getting around, but since we returned we’ve been pedalling less and less. Why?
In October, with one week left before Paddy had to go back to work, we decided to take the bikes away to escape reality. With only a few days available and looking for some fun rather than a challenge we decided to head to Norfolk to explore a part of the UK neither of us knew.
